EA SPORTS Declares Jared Zabransky as Cover Athlete for NCAA FOOTBALL 08

Former Boise State Quarterback Defines Essence of Top Selling College Football Game

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., - March 2, 2007 – Electronic Arts Inc., (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced today that former Boise State University quarterback and Tostitos Fiesta Bowl MVP Jared Zabransky will appear on the cover of NCAA® Football 08 , scheduled for release this summer under the EA SPORTS™ brand.  Developed by EA Tiburon, NCAA Football 08 will be available on the PlayStation®2 and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment systems, and Xbox® and Xbox 360™ video game systems from Microsoft.

“This has been a magical season for me and seeing my face on the cover of NCAA Football 08 is yet another unforgettable moment in what has already been a great year,” said Zabransky.  “This video game truly embodies the spirit of college football and I'm very proud to be a part of it.”

Zabransky led Boise State to an undefeated season this year and most recently to a 43-42 overtime victory against Oklahoma at the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in what some call one of the most exhilarating games in college football history.  At the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, he completed 19-of-29 passes for 262 yards and will most likely be remembered for perfectly executing the Statue of Liberty play to win the game.  In three seasons as the starting quarterback, Zabransky compiled a 33-5 record and was named a semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien and Maxwell Awards this past season.

In NCAA Football 08 , players will look to be a leader and become a legend on the field.  With all-new Leadership Control, players now lead by example and control the action on the field and can increase their sphere of influence by improving their players' personal ratings on each big play.  For the first time on Xbox 360 and PS3, the game will feature a new and deeper recruiting system and an all-new Campus Legend mode.  NCAA Football 08 is everything that's great about college football.  The game's official website is www.ncaafootball08.com

"we're boned!" -Bender

more to the point i am
chances are no one has heard the complete story, i dont know what posseses me to decide to post this but i guess its an idea to put it somewhere
this my 23rd of my life has effiently been wiped clean off the map along with the year 2006(for me anyway), except for a few high points and some other things
the winter i spent dealing changing roommates and what trying to start a good season of riding to lead to racing, i was up to a good 40 miles a ride
hospital set back #1
march 27th i had a nasty stomach flu intestinal really they say, i woke up early that mon morning after not being able to sleep much at all, at 7am i threw up the pizza i had eaten at 1am, after trying to deal with it with a few home remedys and no sucess i deemed it could not be handle as such and went to the er, after a few labs they said "ur sick and dehydrated" gave me an liter via iv some antibiotics an said you can go, as they were pushing me in the wheel chair out to the car, i passed out and awoke as they were lifting me back into the bed i just left 15 seconds ago and sticking me with an iv again, they were drawing blood again and said "ur dehydrated...", another liter along with the abilty to drink a few glasses of water(and a few more hrs), they sent me home.... again, thats the short and sweet one
convention....yaaaaaay
dating....yaaaaaay
mono......
my choice of dating involved driving out of town, which was a little strain on not having my van running, middle of may i really set into fixing my van, a good 8 days work, and work n such, i got it to work right and it hasent giving me trouble yet, just 14 mpg
in driving to another weekend visit, what i had thought was just a nasty cold or flu that i had brushed aside, really had some wierd symtoms, so i decided it was time to visit the er again
hospital set back #2
may 27th (well 2 am sun the 28th)
"they said ur sick, u have mono." they gave me a few shots and perscriptions and sent me on my way, luckily no more complications on this visit but more to come
hospital setback #3
may 31st wed
after the percriptions ran out the pain was unbearable, again decided i needed to see a doc in a box, they couldnt do anything, go to the er, "they said "we'll try to taper you of the persciriptions unlike the last doc, that should work better, if any new symtoms occur or worsen, come back." again luckily no complications here, but theres still more
hospital setback #4
june 3 sat
sittin around the apt just taking it easy, already missing work, but i have paid sick leave i felt ok with that, a little phlemy, spit a big gross one out, and its a blood clot, continue to spit up blood for a while till i can get into the er again, sittin in the er waiting, get in to a exam room waiting, an iv, more labs and getting stuck, doc takes a look, i start vomiting blood that id been involuteerly swallowing, and continue to spit up blood, they call an ear, nose and throat specialist, vomit some more blood, he does his exam and say "u have bleeding toncilitis", but my toncils were so swollen they couldnt tell were it was exactly coming from so they couldnt what do ever conventional process i was to close the wound and stop the bleeding, the other option was straight into the o.r. for a toncilectemy, then one of the nurses or nurses aids i cant remember, i could remember his face though, mentioned something else, a aresol spray that he used in iraq as a medic, they just got it in a few weeks ago, it bonds with the blood in the wound and makes it clot, my toncils wouldnt stop bleeding on there own becuase i would swallow or spit it out so i could continue breathing, first application... painful, more vomiting into dry heveing, second application still prtty painful, the admit me to a room with a stopped up asshole, they send me on my way mon the 5th
i get back home the 12th or th 13th, back to work on the the 17th, had enough sick leave that my paycheck will be the same, awesome
a few camping trips, a family vacation that could never be forgot,  it really wasnt that much time with the family, taking it easy till the mono was gone, august 5th i could tell it was gone, i didnt have any symtoms, renewed energy, i felt great, got in a few bike rides, a wapping 15 miles each maybe, helped my brother move,  marching band starts, i move, i help my sister move but she waited til the last fucking second to move, so i was 3 nights of staying up til 3 or 4 in the morning moving her shit, in the middle of the first week of school, a football game, and still going to work, the day after all that, i felt like it was back, i take it easy, go see a doc, they say "oh well the mono test is negitive, the strep test is negitive, here are some antibiotics, take some otc ibubrofen for swelling, rest...", a week later still not better, see the doc again, more labs, another strep test, they're still confused, time goes on, symtoms continue, i cant quit work, have bills to pay, plus its a GOOD job, cant quit blue thunder, despratly need the gpa boost, plus i love it and need it for kkpsi, sept 27th just another bad day, i start to get bruises on my legs. but there not bruises or infections, i see the doc again a few more times, they dont know why they are there, they say strep can sometimes cuase that same symtom but the strep tests still come back negitive, a few more pescriptions, the say "continue resting", i ask work about medical leave, but becuase im only parttime, i cant and i only have so munch sick leave and vacation, mon the 2nd, i ask work if i can stay home sick, my supervisor has been disbelieveing me the last week or so, set in motion by another supervisor that has is a complete bitch has it in for me and plays favorites with a few other coworkers, i show up, and i can hardly stand w/o a woble, i go home, i thought it was understood that i need to take a few more days off in hopes to get better, being met with hostility, i resined fri the 6th along with seeing the doctor again and follow up with a ct scan, ive missed to many practices to be able to march homecoming, i go home from the game before it starts, week later i get a few stomach achs, some freindly canker sores in my mouth and throat, sat the 14th and sun the 15th i couldnt eat anything
hospital setback #5
i go to the er on sun, they give me a liter by iv again, more lab work, they try to send me home, but after a shot of liquid ibuprofen with excrutiating pain i convince them otherwise, they admit me to isolation, becuase they still have no idea what i have, every time a nurse or an aid come in to check my vitals, give me pain meds, change the iv bag, they have to put on gloves, mask and apron, including the guys from the lab that came in twice a day to take blood for the first 3 nd a half days, i force myself to eat something on mon, the next 2 days i still really couldnt eat, at least i dont think i did, even my meals were served on disposable trays, when i left the room to go for a walk i had to wear a mask, x-rays, heart sonogram, drugs, a doctor visit everyday, still dont know what i have, then a gastrointrologist says the symtoms point to cronhs disease, least im oput of isolation, a test later confirmed i go home the 27th, within the reading they sent me home with, it says "avoid taking nonsteroidial antiinflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen... since it can worsen the disease" and what was i doing for six weeks sept thru oct, following doctors orders, ibuprofen 400-600 mg 2-3 time daily, oh yeah they sent me home with perscriptions of course, $378 worth, out of pocket, have to pay for it, have to take it, or back to the hospital, every day is $12.50
becuase on circumstances and being busy, the er bill from march get sent to collections just befor i call and set up payment arrangements, i find out that there is also an old bill from jan 2002, the bills from may/june are much highier in numbers, i applied for ada county medical assitance, denied, apealed, declined, ruled oct 4th that the bill of about $5000 is too small for them to handle and that i have the ablility to pay it on my $10000 a year job in five years(not to metion about $2000 not on the application that i have to pay out of pocket, the fact that i pay my own tuition, which i had hoped to be more but with obvious complcation did not happen, all of the doctors visits have been out of pocket as well, and  i was paying rent and untilities), ive been working on paying on some of them and made a dent, but now i dont have an income and not much time till payments are due again, for the oct bills i acually had a finacial consultant come up to my hospital room to start on the medicaid and ada county medical assitance again, think it should be accepted becuase it will be alot more substantial
i keep outdoing myself and working to much around the house, cuase so far very little is getting cleaned, or fixed unless its done be me, even though ive lost 20-25 lbs, 3 iches in each thigh a few in the waist as well, i did a little jogging today while test driving my sisters car which i got running, my legs felt like stone, otherwords im also eating so much my stomach hurts from being so full
feeling a little better each day
